The area:
State forest is close by, there are some lovely local walks in area, beaches within walking distance and several beaches a short drive away from Spring Beach too. An award winning distillery located at Spring Beach is only a short walk or 2 min drive away. The beautiful Prosser river also winds its way through a gorge into Orford, a popular fishing spot. BUT the jewel in the area's crown has to be the majestic Maria Island National Park, reached via ferry ride from Triabunna. Yet to be fully discovered by interstate/international tourists!
