Seeking single parent tenant for unit/house split
Hi! I have a somewhat unusual situation that I'm looking for the ideal tenant for. My house has two parts, one which I have been renting as short stay accommodation but would like to move that to a longer term tenant/housemate situation, that half of house is completely self contained with own (small) kitchen, 2 bedrooms, lounge, bathroom, own entrance and carport, plus patio and backyard.

I am a single parent of a 2yo girl, and we travel regularly to Melbourne for my work, overall about 1/3 of our time is spent in Melbourne currently. I would like to offer the other half of the house to a single parent with one child of primary school age or younger that you would be looking to have attend the local school. Please do not contact if this is not your situation: I've had to respond to very many queries that are from people without children of this age. Primary school is a short 3 minute walk away.

The kitchen is fairly small, only has microwave/convection oven/air fryer one induction hob, so do not think it would suit more than 1 adult and maximum 2 children but ideally 1 adult and 1 child. Price includes all utilities and wifi. Contact to discuss! Happy to set up something well in advance. Can be furnished or unfurnished but has built in robes. Non smokers only please. Some pets negotiable.

Please note there is no public transport to Rawson, you do need to own a reliable car. There is general store/post office with basic supplies, pharmacy, op shop, community health, Myli mobile library visits and pub is open 3 days a week in Rawson, and kinder and a few more services in Erica, a 5 minute drive away. There are a few local employment opportunities in the tourist or farming industries, but ideal for remote working too.
